Let’s buy a School Bus!

Nakawa Community Academy is located in a remote and rural area of Zambia where distances are long and there is no public transportation is available.

The community have the use of ONE CAR to transport 67 children to school on a daily basis. For older children who are not able to fit in this car, walking is their only means of transport to get to school. Some children walk up to 18kms per day to receive a basic education and others opt not to go to school simply because of the distance.

A formal education in Africa gives children and young adults the opportunity to develop skills that will allow them to earn a living and support themselves, their families and their communities in the future.

The situation has become urgent to raise the funds for a school bus. This will provide years of transportation for the school children of this community.

A 34-seater school bus will cost USD 8,400.00 to purchase.

Friend of Chundukwa, Marcus Swales (UK) has set up a GoFundMe fundraiser to help raise funds for the school bus. Thank you, Marcus! We are so grateful for your time.

Please donate today and let’s buy these kids a bus. Every dollar helps and is appreciated!
